Jeff focuses his practice mainly on the electrical and software arts, and has prosecuted patent applications on topics such as: analog circuits, business methods, construction/farm equipment tracking and positioning, database query software, disk drive components, electronic devices, global positioning system (GPS) devices and processes, hard disk drive components, image analysis software, medical equipment, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), motion sensor devices, satellite navigation, software processes, touch sensor devices, toys, and virtual machines.
Jeff also has over 23 years of leadership, management, and technical assignments in the military – experience which helps him bring a practical, real-world focus to his client representation. From 1993 to 2001, Jeff was an active duty member of the United States Air Force. Since 2001, Jeff has served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Jeff’s military assignments have included duties as an ICBM (Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile) crew commander, a space systems acquisition manager, a developmental engineer, and various duties as a military attorney (i.e., JAG).
